The begining

At the end of the 80\'s, Gabriel Masurel is drummer in various bands of alternative pop/rock. Fan of electronic sounds, he gets his first synthesizers and as the techno house movement arrives into France, he starts producing synthetic music.

The revelation

The album \"Accident in Paradise\" (1992) of Sven Väth is a revelation and one year later, Gabriel Masurel and Christophe Lebras, under the name \"Blue Planet Corporation\", produce with help of Sébastien Masurel Their first 12\' : ‘Overbloody Flood EP’.
During the year 1994 there will be two more EP released on the label \"Underground French Kommunication\" : ‘Second EP’ and ‘Vol.3 EP’ which will provide them a solid reputation on the international trance scene.

Flying Rhino

In 1995, after several releases for the french label \"Product Of France\", they are invited by the english label \"Flying Rhino\" to prepare and produce an LP.
Gabriel Masurel writes the album by its own, with colaboration on several tracks: Gus Till, DJ Thierry du label XDR, Sébastien Masurel and Christophe Lebras.
The ‘Blue Planet’ LP is released in 1999.
Gabriel Masurel does two years of live act and dj performances in the USA, Japan and Europe. Another vynil EP is released in 2002: ‘Digital Forward EP’. It will be the last discographic production of Blue Planet Corporation for \"Flying Rhino\".

Today

Blue Planet Corporation has from then and on produced several tracks and remixes for french and foreigner labels, with two remixes for the french pop star Mylène Farmer.
His passion for musique leads Gabriel Masurel to work today on many projects and towards various musical orientations with pop/rock and electronic musicians, as well as for advertisement.
