After their remix for Mario Zar, Dualton deliver
their first single for Taekyon Music. Both
tracks are based on heavy drums and deep
basslines, garnished with a load of detailed
sounds, typical for the German duo.
On "USSR" the old school type drumsounds
and house basslines are combined with an
infectious Russian vocal loop. Here, the sound
of the voice is developed into a hypnotic
musical element.
"Ocupar" deals with a tribalistic percussion
loop, dark horn sounds and soulful vocals,
which gave the tune subtile uplifting moments.
This track also comes with two stunning
remixes by Berlin-based producer Re.You
(Souvenir, Keinemusik) and Taekyon's
headhoncho Mario Zar! Both gave the original
a techno-twist, on the one hand heavy rolling
bass, and on the other, you’ll find some deep
minimalistic sounds and a groovy atmosphere.
